Climate crisis per se is not a problem that the Indian government can deal with alone because the crisis itself is a global crisis. The contributing factors to the crisis is also largely outside India. It's the West, mostly, historically. But at the same point of time, since we are citizens of the country, we ought to ask that what can our governments do to mitigate, to adopt, to kind of contribute towards a politics that changes this, that reverses this or at least tries to protect the people. Like you said, people are getting flooded, their homes are getting inundated, are collapsing. What can Indian government do? Very clearly, Indian government now knows, earlier there was an excuse that we don't know how the climate will change. Now, there is an official Ministry of Arts Science study released in 2020. It projects what will happen till 2040 to 50, 60 to 70, 90 to 2100. So it has very good scientific projection that might vary somewhat. But we have an idea as the government, as the people what is going to happen, where are we going. So clearly improve the drainage system of cities. See in rural areas if you have not built up a stupid embankment like in Koshi then you don contain the flood for too long like Brahmaputra floods still come but then don remain for three months or four months Koshi floods remain because the water has nowhere else to go. So except those stupiditie…
