The Ram Mandir donation theft case is being called a betrayal of faith, a betrayal of millions of Ram Bhakt Hindu devotees that the current BJP leadership claims to champion. To talk about this, I have with me somebody from within the Saffron Fold who has been very deeply involved with the Ram Mandir movement, the international president of the UHP, Mr. Alok Varsa. Thanks very much for speaking to PIT TV. At the outset, sir, let me begin by asking you, do you think this has discredited and weakened significantly the moral authority of the VHP, of the RSS? Do you think that to some extent you have lost the right, dare I say, to say that you are custodians of Hinduism and the Hindu faith? We do not claim ourselves to be the custodians of Hindu faith. We are one of the organizations which is working on the Hinduts. Let us begin with two facts. Fact one, we admit that they are helping by stealing or chalaava in Ram Jamnal. And it is a shocking news. It has hurt all Hindus. So we begin with admitting it.
