Day 3 of CEC Protests: Protesters Continue to Demand Accountability | Sravasti Dasgupta Reports

We've come to the protest near India Gate today where this call has been given by various civil society groups as well as left organizations. And we are seeing lots of young people have come in to join this protest. The protesters are demanding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar's resignation. And this protest is the third day that the protest against the special intensive revision of the SIR has been going on in Delhi. with detentions but people have continued to come as you can see behind me there is a huge crowd of people and people are already raising slogans gyanesh it's done bro is a very popular slogan on social media and we've been blocked over here there's a barricade up ahead this straight road leads to india gate but the uh but the crowd has not yet been allowed to protest if i could show We are also seeing riot vehicles over there. Police and CRPF are on standby. And people are continuing to stream in even on the pavements. You can see lots of people are over here.
